Catalog Marketing Program

DonDebelak.com/DSD Marketing and the National Mail Order Association (NMOA) have formed an alliance to help inventors get their products placed in catalogs and other direct mail advertisements.  With this product representation program, you will use NMOA’s relationships with thousands of different mail order companies and Don Debelak’s expertise in inventions and product introduction to have a professional and respected team represent your product to major catalogs all across the country.  If your product qualifies for the program, NMOA and Don Debelak will represent your product on a commission basis, with only a modest start up fee of $495.   If you have additional questions that are not answered below, please see our frequently asked questions by clicking here.   To see a list of our current products, click here.

How it works:
1. 
Your product will be promoted through the NMOA’s network of marketers and featured in
          the NMOA’s online product showcase. www.nmoa.org/Products
2. 
Your product will also be featured on www.DonDebelak.com.
3. 
Your product will be included in 4 mailings over 2 years to its main matching catalog
          segment.  The Catalog Marketing Program only promotes certain categories
          of products during specific times of the year. (See the calendar below) These times
          fit the buying schedule of catalogs and are most likely to create a sale.
4. 
All contacts / negotiation will be handled by DSD Marketing.
5. 
Pay only 7% commission on all orders and a $495 start up fee.

Note: If your product falls under more than one catalog category, i.e. it could be sold by different types of catalogs, for instance, if you have an Auto related product, but it could also be sold by Boating catalogs; and if you want to expand your marketing efforts to also include those catalogs, there is an additional co-op marketing fee of $225.00 per extra catalog segment.

How to get started:
1.      
Fill out the product evaluation form, and send that along with a product brochure and
          any other information you have regarding your product. Send your information by
          email to info@dondebelak.com or send it to DSD Marketing,

2.       If your product is approved you will receive a representation contract that you can sign
          and return with a $495.00 check.

To qualify for this program you will need to:

-Pass an examination process by DonDebelak.com/DSD Marketing to see if your product is a good candidate for this program.

-Have professional quality pictures of your product in electronic format, with at least one picture showing the product in use. If you do not have good pictures, contact info@dondebelak.com about having them done for you.

-Have a pamphlet or brochure for your product.  If you do not have one, or if you do not have a satisfactory one, DonDebelak.com or NMOA can create one for you.  Contact info@dondebelak.com for more information.

-Have production means.

-Have means to create product before payment.

-Have a prototype or finished product.

Not Quite Ready

          own digital pictures.
2.  Need pictures?  You can take your product to ProEx or a similar
          photo studio or we can take some product shots for you.

Catalog Mailing Schedule

NOTE: There are limited openings in each product mailing, and mailings are assembled 15 days before the scheduled drop date, so please submit your product application at least 45 days before the mail date.
